Do you help people buy and sell homes in Greater Birmingham?

How do you decide on a list price?

What are the steps to buying a home?
Get pre-approved so you know your budget, agree on your needs and wants, tour homes without rushing, review comparable sales and negotiate, have a licensed inspector inspect the home, then work with your lender and closing attorney through the final walk-through and closing.
Should I sell my home or rent it out?

Property management
Do you mark up repairs for Birmingham-area rentals?
No. AKS Realty Group does not mark up repairs. We work with multiple vendors to get good pricing, and you are charged exactly what the vendor charges. Emergency maintenance is handled as a high priority for the safety of the tenant and property, and we notify you.
How do you screen tenants?
Our goal is to find good tenants. We use a screening service to run a thorough credit, criminal background, employment and rental history check on each applicant.
When do owners get paid and see statements?
Rent proceeds and statements are sent to owners at the end of each month. Owners can review transactions, monthly and annual reports, and inspection reports in the online owner portal.
I'm a real estate agent. Will you keep my client?
No. AKS manages your investor client's rental and sends the client back to you when they are ready to buy or sell. Your client relationship stays yours. Visit our For Agents page or call 205-821-9683 to refer an owner.

Emergency maintenance requests are handled 24/7 as a high priority for the safety of tenants and the property, and we notify the owner.
